Who am I?
I am Maiqui Pineda-Domingo and I was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis, a rare and life-threatening autoimmune disease. With hard work, patience and unwavering faith, I am now in clinical remission.
I started this blog as a way to cope with my illness and document my journey to recovery. Along the way, I realized I wasn’t alone—so many others are going through similar things.
The love and support from the people around me got me through some of the hardest days. I hope I can do the same by sharing my story through this blog.
